Had to share theses adorable picture.

Ava's treasures! We love all the wonderful gifts and cards. It lights up the room.
Here is Ava right after surgery this morning. I haven't been showing you full body pictures because of her opened up stomach. It is really too much to see. This one shows her but not her belly.
This is Ava with a fever shortly after returning to her room. Mommy uses cold compresses to soothe her headache.
Ava's skin surgery went well. She tolerated it better than I expected. She is resting good at this moment. I just told the nurses that this is usually how I do her hair everyday.

"My precious baby, oh how I wish we were at home and none of this was happening. I miss how you turned your shows on by yourself. You would start and stop them without my help. Miss independant! You are such an amazing little girl. I miss your smile and your straight, white perfect teeth. I miss your hugs. I miss nursing you. I miss our closeness. Ava I miss you. Sweetheart I can't wait to see your eyes sparkle once again. I will wait patiently for I know you will fight this birth defect once again. I love you, so much."

We like this stable thingy. We hope it not only continues but she heals very well.
