We are getting Discharged!

Hey Happy Easter! AND what a great day it is! We were pretty straight forward with them that we thought she was ready to go home today. Dr Pincher agreed quickly that she is doing "fantasic". Oh how happy we are! Brian is in the shower. Ava is finishing the last dose of her Vanco and then we are out of here! We discussed finishing the course of antibiotics and he told us that he felt confident that Ava's bug was gone. He told us typically when the line is pulled the infection is gone immediately. The source of her infection was on that line.

We haven't called the girls yet. They are going to be SOOOO excited. I will try to catch the look on Ava's face when she realizes we are really going home!

"Happy Day!"

Hello, Ava and family. I was glad to hear that you made it home so quickly; how were your noodles?!
Dr. C and I enjoyed reading your blog; I posted a note to share the site with our other nursing staff. I can't believe how quickly it has been updated given that your parents haven't gotten much sleep lately! Enjoy the rest of the day with your sisters and sleeping in your own bed tonight! Thank you for sharing your beautiful pictures (your mom is an awesome photographer!) and story with us.
Take care,
Suzanne
