Hello everyone! Ava gave us another scare tonight. She seems to keep us on our toes CONSTANTLY... no fun for us. We were at my parents house and Ava came out of the bathroom holding her finger. She was crying. I saw blood. I got a little queezy. It was deep so to the ER we went. I called Brian at work and he came and met us there. (These are the pictures from my phone.)
We just got home and Ava is doing much better. We need to keep her finger covered and dry for 2-3 god days then covered for 7. She can get the stitches removed in 7-10 days. She is happy about all the stickers she got... silly girl!

Good news is after the xray we learned, it was not broken. Two stitches fixed the cut. She did great. I don't know where she gets her strength.

Talk about drama... The ER doctor was the same one that fixed her index finger when she nearly took it off. As we were leaving he says, "Two down eight to go!" We just laughed. Let's hope there is no next time.

~aww, poor Ava! What a brave little soul she is. I hope it heals up nicely and she's back to her old self soon! Let's hope she is just clearing the path for an incident free life later on. (((HUGS))) Hang in there Mom :O)
