My newest project

Hello Ava fans. She is doing great. I am happy to report that each and every day she gets stronger and feels better. I have her up to 60ml's (2 ounces!) an hour of Elecare formula during the day. We go down at night to 18ml's. I do give her about 4-5 hours off usually one hour in the morning for bath time and a few hours at night when the girls come home. She is just getting into everything but I wouldn't want it any other way!

I feel really passionate about sharing Ava's story with people and giving them hope and strength to know that Miracles happen everyday. When I was pregnant with Ava I found not a single blog, article or site that gave me hope. An idea popped into my head yesterday.....I will gather wonderful stories of hope, faith, inspiration and love and display them on one blog entitled...."ALl Miracles"!

Please go and check it out. I am so proud of it already. If I can give hope to one person it is worth it ALL! Thanks to Erica's grandmother and to Jason. They are both featured so far...well besides Miss Ava!

If you have a story that you would like to share please email me personally at mycdhlife@gmail.com. Together we can make a difference.

Thanks again for following Ava's journey. Sorry that things are so "boring" right now. Actually I'm not I LOVE boring! I may never think the same about the word boring again! I'd take boring any day. Prayers we can still use.

I must say, as a pregnant CDH mom, the only thing getting me through all of this, truly is my CDH family!
I am so grateful for all of the blogs and miracle stories that have been shared!
Every time I get bad news from the drs. or have something go wrong, I read your blogs and think, you know, we can get through this! The miracle CDH children make it so incredibly hard to give up, for that I am truly inspired. Hope does exist, little Ava is pure proof of that! :-)
Thank you for all that you have done! :-)
Love and prayers,
Sheryl & Tom

I need to add the new blog, I will go check it out tonight. I knew as soon as Ava had the surgery she would just fly, and she is. Yeah
