Well we had a great day. Ava is doing really well and feeling great. I don’t know if it is the combination of the antibiotics or cutting her carbs but whatever it is we are loving it. I have learned to take one day at a time and praise God for these absolutely grand days. We will take what we are given. Her tummy measured 49 today. It is still distended but MUCH better. I asked her if we could shoot some tummy pictures today to show off her smaller stomach. She gladly did this pose. She is such a ham!
She loves watching TV but she is way too close. I am thinking she probably has trouble seeing. (This is what Lexis did when she was this age….and she had to get glasses at 2 and a half!) However with Ava things that take priority are first on the list. When her health issues calm down a bit we will have to go to the eye doctor.
Ava loves our dog. She is a Bichon Frise. Belle is 13 years old. She can not see or hear any more. We usually have to pick her up to take her outside. She is very content laying in her bed. She is very healthy otherwise.
She wants more than anything to be outside. If it was up to Ava we’d all live outside. You know me I took the opportunity to get some great pictures!
We made a trip to the Dairy Queen. It was SO yummy! See what Ava did.
A great end to a FABULOUS day. A few months ago I never would have thought Ava would be doing this!! It just goes to show me that God answers our prayers….So please keep them coming. We will take these good days and savor them………
