Mother’s Day

It is such a beautiful day here in Iowa. Ava is napping and I thought I would sit here, relax and chat with all of you. I have been giving Ava her antibiotics at about 7 am, 7pm and 2am. This way she is getting the medicine all around the clock. I seem to wake often and check on her anyways. I shine the flash light at her tummy to see if she is going back up. So far she is staying between 49 cm’s- 53 cm’s. That is larger than “normal” but better. She seems a lot more comfortable.

So the girls made me beautiful cards….they just couldn’t wait to give them to me so I got them yesterday!  ;) It was so cute. Lexi’s card says……

“Thanks you for giving me life. Thanks you for all you’ve done. Thank you for all my sisters, and you will have Peace and Joy!”

It is exactly what I need, “peace and joy”. I have been SO very blessed. Here is what they made me this Mother’s Day.

To my Wonderful Mother,

“Mom you have always been there for me. As a child I looked up to you and hoped I could somehow be as loving as you. I saw the simple things you did for all seven of us kids. I often wondered why I had to have SO many siblings…..now I know it was a gift you gave us all. How can I ever thank you for all you have done? You are there when I’m happy. You are there when I have to cry. You always seem to have the right answers…..you always know why. I believe God gives us the perfect Moms. He plans it at the very start. I just thank the Lord above, for Him closing you to be my Mom! With ALL my heart…………Happy Mother’s Day!”

AND I did get a few shots of my Mother’s garden flowers.  She has the greenest thumb…..another thing I envy about my Mother. These pictures literally make me take a deep breath and relax. As you know snapping pictures make me so happy and as Lexis said “peace and joy”!

And I’ll end with THIS last picture. As always thanks a million for dropping by…..although I don’t know you all personally I know that there is a reason that you follow Ava’s journey. I hope that you know life is an incredible experience and we make our “own” happiness! Ava definitely makes the most of each and every day. I love to see this smile. God bless you all.
